Relaxation

If your forehead is relaxed, you cannot worry.
Swami Veda Bharati: Signs of Spiritual Progress, page 6

The course focuses on the joy of practice, relaxation, pranayama and meditation.

We move from the physical body towards meditation, with love and acceptance of ourselves, which sometimes may not be easy. An integral part of our practice is a series of joint and glandular exercises, essential in the tradition, which move the whole body, warming it up.
Classical asanas, to prepare the body for relaxation and meditation sitting, are performed in harmony with full awareness of the states of the body - breath - and mind.
We will focus on diaphragmatic breathing, a key practice in the tradition, as well as learning basic relaxation techniques and the first steps of meditation.
